Jeon Somi

Jeon Somi, born on March 9, 2001, in Ontario, Canada, is a South Korean-Canadian singer and dancer known for her work in the K-pop genre. She gained prominence as a contestant on the reality survival show "Produce 101" in 2016, where she finished first and subsequently debuted as a member of the project girl group I.O.I. The group achieved significant success, releasing popular tracks such as "Whatta Man" and "Very Very Very." After I.O.I disbanded in 2017, Somi pursued a solo career under YG Entertainment's sub-label, The Black Label.
